Official AC Milan vintage shirt 1962/63 - The first European Cup

In the 1962/63 season AC Milan is not concentrated in the Italian Championship and the FC Inter will easily win the title.
The Rossoneri have as their objective the European Cup.
Eliminating the US Luxembourg (8-0 and 6-0), the English champions of Ipswich Town (3-0 and 1-2), the Turks of Galatasaray (3-1 and 5-0), the Scots of Dundee (5-1 and 0-1) they qualify for the London final against the reigning champions of Benfica.
On May 22, 1963 AC Milan, beating Benfica 2-1, won the 1963 European Cup at Wembley Stadium. Altafini scores twice after Eusébio's goal and gives the win to the Rossoneri. Captain Cesare Maldini lifts the trophy, for the first time won by an Italian club. AC Milan's performance was extraordinary: in nine games they scored 33 goals and conceded only 6. Altafini was the topscorer in Europe with 14, record of the competition held until 2012.
